Real estate professionals and consumers depend on strong fair housing laws and practices for our communities and economy to thrive. Discrimination distorts the housing market and closes the door on the American dream of homeownership for qualified buyers.
In partnership with Arizona REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®, Yuma Association of REALTORS® advocates for public policy which advances broader homeownership availability, accessibility, and affordability in our communities. Efforts are focused on narrowing homeownership gaps among demographic groups and promoting strong enforcement of anti-discrimination laws in the housing market.
Yuma Association of REALTORS® supports and works to further NAR's Fair Housing Action Plan, abbreviated ACT!, emphasizes Accountability, Culture Change, and Training, to advance fair housing in the industry by raising awareness, deepening understanding and holding ourselves accountable. .
